Electrical installation of 50kWp groundmount in Devon with CoolPower export limiter

Tethys Energy undertook the electrical design, installation and testing of a 50kWp ground mounted single axis tracker system on behalf of Energy My Way North Devon. Working in all weathers our installation team successfully delivered the system which had a requirement from Western Power Networks to limit the export power to 30kWp.

To achieve this an export limiting device manufactured by CoolPower Products was installed. The device monitors the on site demand and export from the PV array simultaneously and uses a hub to turn down the inverters if the export exceeds the set amount.
