Solar panel installation in Reading

A client had a recent rennovation project in Reading and we installed some Jinko solar panels using the GSE in-roof system. This design allows the solar panels to sit flush with the roof removing the need for a protective bird mesh and improving the overall aesthetic of the installation.

The client was having their entire property re-roofed as well as building an extension. With a rennovation project like this, we at Tethys Energy work in close co-operation with the client and the other tradespeople involved to ensure a smooth and complication free installation.

When the roofing material is being removed, it is usually easier and less expensive to install an in-roof solar panel system as opposed to re-roofing as usual and then retro-fitting an on-roof solar panel system to it. There are savings in terms of time and materials as less roof tiles, or in this case slates, are required to complete the rennovation.

The overall impact is a high output solar panel system that looks fantastic. This not only significantly reduces the client’s energy bill, but prompts interest from neighbours who oftern comment on how good these systems look.
